Something went wrong. Hang it on someone.

Milk left out. Meeting moved without telling you. Your charger "borrowed" forever. Start a Blame Circle, name the culprit, and talk it out until someone says sorry.

How a circle works

From "who did this?" to "my bad" in four moves.

1

Open a circle

Write what's bugging you. Keep it short, keep it spicy.

2

Name the culprit

Pick who gets the blame. If they're on Blame Circle, they get pinged right away. If not, send them an invite.

3

Talk it out

The circle turns into a chat room. Evidence, excuses, and dramatic gasps all welcome.

4

Close it

Either the blamer closes it with a reason, or the blamee owns it and says sorry.

Every circle ends one of two ways

Somebody lets it go, or somebody owns it.

The blamer closes it

You started it, you can end it. Pick a reason:
  • Problem solved
  • Got an apology in person
  • On second thought, it was me
  • Not worth the drama

The blamee takes it

Hit "Accept the blame", write a sorry, and the circle closes with your apology on record. Every accepted blame lands in the Hall of Blame.
Try it out

Play a round of blame

Playing as

Hang a blame on someone, then switch to them and watch the notification land. The circles here are examples, and anything you add stays in your own browser.
